I got so many plans for the future. Everything's right on track, too.

If you've been following my stories, I'm sorry, but they're over. Nexus and Black Void, as you know them, are canceled. It's been coming for a while, but the patchwork I've been doing with them over the many years is now too much. They're suffocating under their own weight, so I gotta scrap 'em.

But every end leads to a new beginning.

I'm redesigning them from the ground up. Why? Well, for starters, I started these stories about ten years ago, and in that time, the direction of the stories have changed over and over again. That's cool. It's good. I like the way they've both changed, because each change reflected where my head was at. But now, I think it's time to pinpoint one clear focal point, and stick with it. I think that'll make the stories stronger as a whole, and once they're set, I'll finally be able to proceed to the next phase.

The comic.

That's always been the goal. The whole reason I'm writing these stories is so I can get an artist to help me add some scenery to this. And after the comic is supposed to come the TV show, and after the show should come the video game, but y'know. Baby steps.

So yeah. I'm kinda thinking about changing the names of them too. Nexus was always really a placeholder name, but I couldn't think of anything. Now, I'm kinda leaning on This World. Maybe. Black Void is still staying, though.

Either way, stay tuned for some changes. I'll slowly be putting the chapters that're up in storage, and then slowly start putting out the chapters of the newly revamped story for the public.

So where we at? At the edge of reality where a Secret War is taking place.

So I been on it with this story writing thing. You know how it goes. Workin' on getting the story down tight, while always bein' on the lookout for artists for commissions. Speaking of which, check it.

Those are five of the seven Mystics. Other two are on their way as soon as I settle on some artists to craft 'em up. Like I said, I'm always on the lookout for great work. If you got the free time, I got the patience. We can work something out and be a part of greatness.

Speaking of the Mystics, check out the latest episode of Nexus to see what the Mystics are all about.

~Nexus~

So that Nexus story is stepping into a new place with the Mystic story arc. Already got it set up. I'll be releasing the new episodes by the week. Basically the premise is this. Now that we know that demons are crossing over into the world, and now that we know there's a group of people who're trained to stop them, what happens when things get out of hand? See, the Mystics had this whole demon game on lock. Most of the world had no idea about the terrible things that carry on. Demons showed up, then the Mystics showed up to stop them. They had their patterns and habits down pack. But now, all of a sudden, the demons are shaking things up in a way the Mystics aren't entirely ready to handle. They done changed the game. Now these Mystics are tryna find out what the new rules are, and how to get things back to normal. And they desperately need to get back to normal. Otherwise, the whole dadgum world's goin' ta Hell. And it all starts here. In Nexus episode 29.

N29 Mystics Pt. I

~Black Void~

And don't think I forgot about you space-faring wanderers. Darius is still doin his thing in Black Void. After that startling reveal of who Carlos really is, Darius isn't quite sure he can trust him anymore. And considering the fact that he's among a band of pirates, there doesn't seem to be anyone out there who has his best interest at heart. That's okay, though. He's still going with the flow. He's a leaf on the wind. And that wind continues to carry him to strange and new places. Find out what that big reveal was in Black Void episode 28. New episodes of this story are soon to come.

Mary Jane!!

10 min read
I'm in love with Mary Jane! She's my main thang!

What's good? So here's how it is. Same ol'.

My stories.

Yeah, I got stories. I'm writin' about 'em. I'm still writin' about 'em, and eventually ya'll gon' see 'em.

See, I'm goin' through this dilemma right now on how I want to go forward. Then I came to the conclusion that if I don't go forward, I'll never get there. So I'mma keep doin' me until the me turns into what I wanna be, feel me? Black Void's gonna get caught up with Nexus. Then I'mma be on dat Nexus again. Then Black Void. Then eventually, I'mma go back and do a whole lotta re-writes to make it better.

In the mean time, 'member when I was all like, "It'd be real cool, if someone would draw a scene from somethin' a mine." Well, thanks to my girl :iconp-joart: it happened.

Check Black Void episode 10 real quick.

BV10 The Sound of Drumming
It stands there looking down at me. I don't know if it's agitated or not. She could be charging some giant super laser from her white glowing eyes. She could be scanning my mind for the off switch to put me to sleep. She could be secretly laughing at it up. I don't know. I can't tell anything from her. There's nothing on her face. No eyebrows that furl, no mouth that pokes out or smiles, no nose that gets all crinkly or relaxed. I can't get a read off this giant, 80 foot tall, alien lady at all, and it's drivin' me crazy. So I just stare back, trying to be just as cold, just as stoic, and just as stern as her.
"What are you waiting for?" Ran asks. I've never seen someone so scared stiff and shaky all at once. Then again, I've got no room to talk. I'm holding onto this sword like it's a bible, so tight, just to make me feel better—like I own somethin' important. "I think you actually got her to listen."
"Oh really? Cool." I guess that works then. Now I feel good about

Yeah, good times. Good times. Now that you did that, rewind back to the part where Darius was tryna talk to dat Visigen lady an' she wasn't lissnin'. What'd Ran say right there? She said... she said, she said--

Black Void 1 by P-JoArt an' den it was like

Black Void 2 by P-JoArt an' my dude was like

Yeaaaaah boi! It happened. :iconp-joart: came through fo real. It was a beautiful thang. Real talk, watch her. An' then hit her up with some commissionary conversations. Throw money at her. Keep throwin' money at her. Then throw some money at me, so I can throw more money at her to get more of these scenes drawn up. Livin' da dream my dudes. Livin' da dream. That's what's up.

Comics!

The comics that's been goin' round recently have been so amazing. Hickman's Infinity has been so on point. It's like. I mean it's everything you expect from a Hickman story. You go in not knowing what the world anything is about. Gettin' that sneaky feelin' that somethin's about ta go down. Then you get dat pay off in lil bits an' pieces. Not enough to spoil everything, but enough to let you know that the story's good, and it's still got room to get you better. Easily the best Marvel event in the past 5 years. Maybe even a decade. Why? Well, because it's the first major event that's actually relying on itself as opposed to what I've come to call cheap gimmicks.

It's big in scale, so it doesn't feel like just another story-arc/crossover. It was set up in stages, so all the big stuff doesn't come off as overwhelming clutter. It's not relying on gimmicks and shock value in order to carry it, and as a result the big moments actually mean something. The event itself is very well paced, so it never seems like an issue was just a waste trying to get to the next one. Structurally, I can't think of any reason why people who like comics wouldn't like or, at the very least, appreciate this as an event aside from just not liking space opera based sci-fi.

Contrast that to what's goin' on in Battle of the Atom, it's like night and day. Don't get me wrong, I'm enjoying Battle of the Atom, but it's definitely not filling me with that lasting impact because frankly, it's doing everything that I don't like events to do. Still enjoying it though, but it's not exactly what I would call great. Just something about the way Bendis tells his stories.

Speaking of Bendis's story telling, I'm really not liking his Guardians right now. First two issues were nice. They set up a stage. I'm ready for what's supposed to come next. I have an idea of what's supposed to come next. Then 5 issues down the line nothing's happened. It's been, skirmish here, dialog there, dialog, skirmish, "oh look it's Angela." And now it's time for the Infinity tie in, then their own event/crossover with X-men? Okay. It's just... I feel like Bendis is... he's always had this thing for big, big, big, it's gotta be big. He hypes himself up for the big, always. So much that unless he's doin' somethin' big, he can't do something small and have it mean anything. He's on top of those gimmicks, but without them, he doesn't have material, which is weird, and very frustrating to me as a reader. He's got enough gimmicks to keep his X-Books running for a bit. Maybe when Battle of the Atom's over, and he crosses them over with Guardians, Guardians'll pick up, but right now, nothing.

Bendis is a good writer though. You can't take that away from him. He knows how to tell a good story. He knows how to write good characters and develop them. He knows how to do things right and in a way that makes me feel like there's a good payoff. But my problem with him is that he doesn't know how to do it with anything other than his own stuff. When I look at his work, the main hits that are largely agreed upon as amazingly epic are his Daredevil, Ultimate Spider-Man, Alias, Scarlet. What else? Powers? Yeah Powers. Those were all good. Spider-Woman. He's got Einser awards for those being good. He knows how to do good. But you see pattern there? I do. They were all his. Like completely his. And if they weren't, they were close enough to his own style that making them his wasn't that much of an issue. The dark, gritty, street level, noirish, non-cosmically inclined, non-abstract based, just straight up, down to earth, in your face drama. And the way he writes his characters, that colloquial dialog, that imitative speech pattern, that "uh, um... yeah, ya see?" it works, because it fits in the setting that he creates. When he became Marvel's big go to Avengers guy, what did he do? He made the Avengers follow that same formula. He put Spidey on the team, made Luke Cage the leader, de-powered Strange, he made them all fit into his little box, his comfort zone, and he worked with it. He was good with working with it too, except for the fact that in doing so, he sorta completely ignored the history that some of those characters had going for them.

Remember Moon Knight? He was an established character that was looking for a little sun shine. Bendis got him. He's known for bringing new life into old things. It worked with Luke Cage. It worked brilliantly with Luke Cage. Surely, he could do the same with Moon Knight. But no. He did bring new life to him, but at the same time, he completely ignored everything that was in Moon Knight's history that made him Moon Knight, except for the part of him being a little crazy. Moon Knight's never imagined himself as Avengers before. That came completely out of left field. But hey, whatever.

Remember Sentry? Yeah, that's what happened when Bendis was given a character so completely out of his comfort zone, so completely opposite to his general style that after retcon after retcon after retcon after retcon, he couldn't find anything to do with him except finally make him a villain and then kill him.

So I guess what I'm sayin' is my thing about Bendis is that he's really hit or miss. I'm in a love/hate relationship with his work. Whenever he's writing something about a character/characters that aren't already established, then he's on point. Whenever he's writing something about developing a character that he's put his time into. He's on point. Whenever he's writing about something he personally can grasp and relate to. He's on point. But the moment he steps out of his comfort zone (which in itself isn't a bad thing) and tries to blow it up as being the greatest thing since the last greatest thing he's ever did (like every event he's written for Marvel: Age of Ultron, Siege, that whole Dark Reign thing, etc) then he's off the mark more often than not.

I still like Bendis. He's a good writer when he writes what he knows. I'd like to see him grow as a writer, but I don't want him to mess up the stuff that I actually enjoy, which in this particular instance are my Guardians of the Galaxy.

Gonna run this entry a little out of order. First off, this picture is cool. www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbi… Like it and spread the word about it and the local contest it's a part of. More information www.facebook.com/media/set/?se…

So this Kill Paris dude. This dude is so legit. He makes music, and calls it baby making panty dropstep. Takin' samples from all the classic love songs, and injecting the soul of it into dubstep. So good. And when he gets to doin' remixes? Man, you know it's over. Straight up.

Like this girl Tynisha Keli. She put out this dope R&B track called "I wish you loved me." It was ill. www.youtube.com/watch?v=hblH_U… Even had Sammie--you guys remember Sammie, right? With that "I like it." www.youtube.com/watch?v=o5WzGl… I remember skating to this at the skating rink growin' up. Yeah, he got on that Tynisha track and produced magic. www.youtube.com/watch?v=N7T6nq…

Now, I know what you're thinkin'. "That was gorgeous. Beautiful. So passionate. What's a dude named Kill Paris gonna do with a track like that? How can he make greatness...greater?" I'll tell you.

ADD MORE BASS!!

Sorta brings a tear to your eye. I know. All these feels. It's just too much. You gotta disturb the peace with music like this.  Here's his youtube www.youtube.com/user/Killparis… and his soundcloud www.soundcloud.com/killparis

So what it is, what it do?

I don't know if you know this or not, but I been puttin' in work with my Nexus story. Big time. For starters, I restarted the starter part. First 5 episodes got re-written. Don't worry, nothin' changed, it just got to the point that the level of quality just couldn't hold up, so I had to fix that. So check it, and tell me what you think.

N01 Someone's got a New Sword
It's all about this sword. This sword—this ancient relic in this place of ancient relics. It is so old that it is called vintage. One of the few objects that has survived not one, but two dark ages.
It was around when the sword was the weapon of choice for most men. It was around when the sword was abandoned in favor of the firearm. It was around still in the background, moving country to country, imported and exported. It got lost, then it got found, but now—
Now it sits in a store collecting dust. What good is a piece of metal that was once used to cut? There are finer instruments in the world—those that don't rust. High powered lasers, beams that cut. Why stop there? Guns have been puncturing without the need to thrust. They not only shoot bullets, but fire lasers, turn objects into dust. Yes, they're more pulse like, concentrated, yet still deadly.
Yet, even amongst all that, the sword remains still. Quietly waiting for someone's goodwill. It waits for some fine c
N02 Got his tail Whooped
My name is Nexus—his name is Chris. Really, dude— Chris is a boy who has super human speed. A short while ago, he purchased the coolest toy a young, fourteen year old boy, skipping school, could possibly want. I done got dis supa sleek sword!
He runs so fast, the tall, sky reaching structures all appear to merge together around him. Every person on the street walking about looks like no more than a blur. Street lights, light up billboards, fancy electronics—sure he sees them as he speeds past, but at the rate he's going, he can't actually make them out. Besides, he's too excited to care. He has a new toy. The flying cars over his head can't even keep up with him. Granted, none of them are explicitly trying to, but—Don't got time for this.
Before he knows it, he's in the central park. Before he knows it again, he's traveled deep within the woods. He runs as far away from people and as far away
N03 Can't take Swords to School
It's not too often anyone will ever find Chris in class. What? Yes it is! I go to school all the time! The past two days, he has skipped school altogether. I had stuff to do! It's not like he has a job or anything. Usually, when he skips, he goes running around the town. Doing important business—like purchasing a sword he's not old enough to have.
One can't really put too much blame on him, though. Ever since his ST developed, riding with his mom from place to place became all too slow for him. That's not why I stopped riding with her, and you know it! But his heart was in the right place. His mom, being a single parent has to work to make ends meet. Sometimes, that means working two shifts all the way until morning. By the time she gets home, she's far too exhausted to help Chris get ready. She's more than willing to do it, but—I can't be puttin' her through that, especially if I can help it.
So naturall
N04 Fine Your Funeral
Where am I? This Friday started off pretty rough for Chris. Did I take a wrong turn or somethin'? Every single teacher at school decided to give him flack about, what he considers, stupid stuff. No, that doesn't make sense. All throughout the day, he fantasized about jumping out of the window and putting  everything behind him for good.
He would have done it, too. But something—more like someone—kept him from doing so. His friend Lynn has a certain look about her. She only looks that way when she looks at Chris. It's the type of look that makes him stop in his tracks and think about things. Those who know her know not to test that stern gaze, because at any moment and for any reason, she can and will turn whoever into a monkey or frog or other silly such creature.
Wait, I know I've seen that house before. All day, he was looking forward to school ending. After the seven hours that he was forced to endure, it final
N05 Neo Chronicles
“I can't stand her. I'm fourteen years old—she's had fourteen years to get it right, and she still...”
It's Saturday in the city. The sun is out. No dark cloud in the sky. A little nippy, but not quite worth bringing out the winter coat, yet. Those out walking can still adorn their summer tees and cool shorts. Chris isn't one for wearing shorts, but Lynn doesn't mind.
The two are out, walking the streets of the city. Large boxes of all shapes and sizes are stacked left and right. Most people call them buildings. The airway traffic is as dense as can be this time of day, but as long as the flying cars are up there, the walkers can move about freely down here.
It's the weekend. That means no school. That means freedom. That means playtime. That means—well, for Lynn, that means complaining about the things that bother her on the weekend. What is she talkin' about?
“Chris, you understand, right? I'm not crazy. Please t

I was debating on whether or not to rewrite all the way up to 10, but I figured they were good enough as is. Someone apparently agreed with me, and decided to feature number 9 for some reason. Claiming it's one of the best. erozja.deviantart.com/journal/… So I can dig it.

N09 Through the Dark
It looks like ground zero of a catastrophic disaster. No one was around to see the devastation that transpired in this place, save for five individuals, and what those five individuals have witnessed was something so unreal, so fantastic, so terrifying, that they're sure to be having nightmares for weeks. A devil by the name of Asmodeus has clawed his way out of the clutches of Hell, and with him, his legions of the dark realm now walk the earth.
"This was the first of many," Jabari announces. "And like it or not, you're all going to help me fix this."
He closes his eyes and raises his hands toward the sky. None are all too thrilled with the idea of chasing down a bunch of demons, especially seeing as how one of them almost killed them by just standing. Various glances and frowns are exchanged amidst the group. They look back at Jabari and witness a gentle gust envelop him.
Within seconds, the world vanishes. Light pours out of the man, blinding them for a time. Upon regaining their si

So with all that, I say Nexus is right on track. If you've been keeping up, you'll see that I've got it up to 26, and 27 is on the way. Expect that some time this week, then soon after, I'm gonna go back to Black Void and get that movin' again. Might even look into rewriting the first episode of that, too. Just to see where it goes, you know?

If you're not readin' these, consider checking them out. I'm really working on trying to make them all this the best it can be. Cuz as you all know, my goal is to turn this into a comic book, turn that comic into a TV show, and turn that TV show into a game. It starts right here, so you best believe all that's on the way. Be on the look out. I'm really looking into making this all happen, so all you artists out there who're better than me, hook a brutha up. Let's make a comic.

Speaking of comics, so many good ones.

Thanos is a beast. He don't care. He's all trying to figure out how to feel, and he can't so he tries out murder, he tries out starting a family--multiple families, becomes a space pirate, kills his families, dude is cold blooded. Text-book definition of an anti-social, and perfect for the makings of a super villain. Dude is like Doom in space.

Red She Hulk stays amazing. Real sad that it's gonna be canceled, but it's been a fun ride. This past issue had Man-Thing, which was amazing.

Iron Man's secret origin story unfolds to be something really interesting. The things his parents did to ensure he would survive birth, the deals they made, the purpose Tony's forced to fulfill. Insanely interesting.

Superior Spidey was alright. It's quality hasn't diminished from the first issue. I'm still enjoying Ock's take on the super hero gig, and he really is superior to everything Parker ever was, but right now it's just going. I'm looking forward to when Spidey 2099 comes into the fray. That should be real fun.

All New X-Men is making me want to check out Uncanny Avengers now. I picked up the first issue of it, but the bad taste AvX left in my mouth kept me from enjoying it, but I hear that it's gotten a lot better.

Avengers never ceases to amaze me. This past story arc was so cool. Got some real insight into Hyperion, even saw some development with him. Hickman knows how to tell a story, and he knows how to make it mean something. Thor was a great supporting character in it, too.

That was my Marvel run, but I also picked up a lot of other stuff.

Polarity's third issue was just as zany as the first two, and with only an issue left, it looks like this mini-series is gonna finish off strong.

Ten Grand is amazing. This dark, grimy, noir, Constantine like world with angels and demons and mystery and intrigue has so much going for it. The artwork is amazing for it. Dark, stylized, cartoonish, but grimy. J. Michael Straczynski writing this thing so well.

Goin' back to Hickman, this dude is a legit world builder. East of West is so rich and full of awesomeness. The horsemen of apocalypse orchestrating the end of the world? The world bending over backwards to make it as painless as possible? One of the horsemen deciding to go rogue? That horseman being Death? And he's killing any and everything that gets in his way? This story is so legit. It's just 3 issues in, and it's an ongoing. Pick this up and love it.

This next title came at the recommendation of the comic store dude. Five Ghosts is a story about this dude named Fabian Gray. He's got fragments of this stone called "The Dreaming" in his chest, and it allows him to channel the spirits of these five literary figures (Sherlock Holmes, Robin Hood, Dracula, some wizard--I guess it's Houdini--and some samurai) to do all these crazy things. He calls himself a "treasure hunter," and he's on some sorta quest to heal his sister. Got the first three issues, and it's turning out to be really cool.

Words is so true. Shoutouts to Oscar Gamble.

So I don't know if you been noticin', but I got these stories that I'm writin'. One's called Nexus neopaladinoflight.deviantart.c… and it's about a group of kids hunting demons. The other's called Black Void neopaladinoflight.deviantart.c… and it's about this kid who's lost in space. Been writin' these pieces for a while now, and I'm still writin' them too. Just got up to 19 and 20, and more are on the way.

N20 I Messed Up
I can not tell you how messed up we are, and it's all my fault. D***. D***, d***, d***. I had it all planned out. We were doing well—better than I could have hoped to imagine. The enchantment I put over the boys to actually damage the demons worked out great. The fact that the two demons were already fighting each other was a Godsend. How in the world did I end up messing this up?
Think, Lynn. Think back to how it started. Two days ago, right after I got home. I worked on getting into the Axis Mundi. That was good. I stayed there for a while. I soaked it all in. All the spirits there were around me, and I was working with them. I did that. Then with time, I managed to summon the spirit of Jabari.
He came. He actually came. He even showed up in the image of the man he possessed when we met him. I told him the situation. Our friend was lost. We thought the demons had something to do with it. We're ready to do what he tried to have us do in the first pla
BV19 Da Ghetto
It's a new day—or is it a new night? I can't tell. We're on the bright side of a moon, but it still looks night out. The planet this moon's orbiting shines a bright white color. No telling what the land's like below—well, I guess for me, right now it's above. Still got no clue how gravity works for real. Objects are attracted to each other some kinda way. Small one's going to the big one, but the big one is—staak it. I'm walkin'.
Walkin' on moons is fun, because you feel like each step is so much bigger than anywhere else. Moons typically aren't that big, especially compared to the planet they're circlin' around, which means there's not much keepin' my feet planted on the ground. If I want, I can leap up towards the sky, touch it, and come floating back down. Most places keep things in check with whatever gravTech they got goin' on, but there's still enough weightlessness around to let me believe.
Sure, the atmospheres on moons is all artificial an' whatnot, but whate

Betta keep up with 'em, because what's gonna happen is eventually they're gonna be turned into a comic book. Then that comic book's gonna be adapted into an animated TV show. That TV show's gonna get a movie, and it's gonna spin off into a video game. And I'm gonna make all of it. Real talk, as soon as I find me an artist who wants to work with me, get some voice actors, get some voice actors, some animators who know how to model things in 3D, and some programmers, it's all goin' down. I'm tellin' you.

Oh, you think I'm jokin'? Do you know what site we're on? This is DA. There're all sorts of artists runnin' around here. An' you know the best part about some of them? They do commissions. I can give these people money, and they'll draw the characters in my stories for free! Well, I guess it's not free since they're gettin' money, but it don't even matter. And these artists got some mad skills, too. I'm tellin' you. All those preview images you see for each episode, those commissioned dudes did that! It's amazing.

So if you're doin' commissions, happen to read this journal and happen to be interested in the characters that I write about, hit me up. One of these days, when I get rich, I'mma commission someone to work with me on turning one of these episodes into a full on comic book issue. That'll be the day. It's far, far, away, like down the line after I get drafted by the government to work in secret and get paid big, bookoos of money to find the cure for cancer, but don't worry, that day'll get here.

Speaking of these amazing artists, let me show you what I mean when I say they got mad skills.

For my Black Void story, the preview image was done by :iconpauris: Look in her gallery and you'll see how brilliant she is with them colors and lines. She hasn't up'd that picture of DJ to her gallery yet, but when she does, I'll be sure to let you know. She also did a portrait of Nexus, too. Looks amazing, but you already know that, because you're already reading the story.

So there's this thing I do from time to time when I'm not exactly engaged into whatever's going on around me.
What's going on around me? Well, you know. I'm a fifteen year old, average, everyday black kid living in the 30th—31st  in a few months—century. It's a weekday. It's a Thursday. Thursday, October 12th, 3000. Given that, it's pretty easy to imagine what's going on around me.
I'm in school. I'm in class. I'm sitting at my desk right now, staring at this personalized, holographic projection of a computer screen in front of me. This is a programming class, and I'm teaching myself how to code.
Yeah, that's right. I'm teaching myself – or at least, trying to. The reason is because good ol' Mr. Bloomberg over there is done for the day. He's sitting in his chair, staring at the holographic computer screen in front of him feeling fulfilled in his contribution to the student learning process.
Don't get me wrong. He's a great guy, but honestly, a robot could do his

Next up, we got :icondrzime: She's already drawing a comic. It's his very own. So when I asked her to draw Lynn, she came through with the pick up, and BAM.
:thumb350542072:

Speaking of Lynn, I came across this dude :iconvargasni: and his gallery was sooo good. You gotta check it out for yourself. And while you're there, check out what he did with the idea of Lynn.
Lynn Taylor by VargasNi
Yeah, I know. Amazing.

So that was DJ, Nexus, and Lynn. I couldn't leave it at just those three, though. So many more characters left to bring to life. So I was movin' an' perusin' while patiently pursuin' the best of the best, people better than the rest, hold that to your chest. Then blao, like a gunshot, I was assaulted by one of the cleanest, crispest, digital painters I've ever seen. :iconaerisgainsley: She was amazing. Like everyone else here, a slice of the good life, and get this, she's actually a fan of the story. I told her about what I was doin' and she and her sister decided to read it. Shoutouts to you. You're amazing. I got her to draw Jamal, aka Kai.

So there are my comic book artists. They got the covers and the interiors, but I said this is goin' to be an animated TV show, too. I'm talkin' 3D animated. You know how it goes, right? And then it'll turn into a video game. I'mma need to find the best of the best modelers to make that happen. Don't worry, I did. Alla ya'll need to send :iconsaidge42: your love. Look at her gallery and you'll see what I mean. She was so nice, too. Professional. She knew how the game was played, and she mastered it. Had her render Noah, and it was like a blast of goodness rushin' at me.

All amazing. All great. No doubt about it. They all better know that I'mma be a repeat case. So if you're readin' be ready. And I'm tellin' all you readers readin' this, too. Better jump up on 'em, too. Pay them money! Give them everything you got so you can get all this goodness that I'm feelin' back, too. It's a good feelin' that you'll love to have.

So that's what's been goin' down with me.

I missed my comic run this week. Sad day, but it's good. Last time I was out, I picked up the first two trades of Angel and Faith. I got on the Buffy Vamp Slayer thing kinda late, but thanks to Netflix I went through all of it real quick. Found out that I enjoyed Angel's show a lot more, so when it ended like it did, I was real sad.

Then I found out that they picked up right where it left off in the comics. Read through Angel: After the Fall and loved it just as much as the show. Read through Buffy Season 8, and it got weird towards the end, but it was interesting to say the least.

So then I sorta let it fall off until when I picked up those trades. Angel and Faith definitely delivers. It's cool because Faith was the one who was always being defended by Angel because of her being all broken and stuff, but now it's like the roles are reversed, and that's just so cool to me. Strong story writing by my dude Christos Gage. I loved Gage when he was writing Avengers Academy, and he delivers just as strong here. I'm definitely gonna follow this series. I'll look into Buffy Season 9 for the sake of completion, too. I hear that god demon that Fred turned into is back there, and I loved her. What was the name, Illyria? Yeah, that's the one.

On the music side of things, it's all about that Stewrat.

My friend told me about him a while ago, and every time we hang out, he's always got this dude's tunes bumpin' and for good reason. Laid back, chilled out musical beats that be on another level. If you like Nujabes, Thomas Prime, Nomak, Kondor, and all that stuff, this dude's right up your alley. Oh, and don't let him get to remixin' songs. Dude's a beast. I ain't even heard the originals on most of these tunes, and I know it's already great. So good. Like a madvillain.

Speakin' of madvillain's MF is still that dude. Been listenin' through his albums put out through all his different personas. Madvillain, Viktor Vaughn, Metal Face, Metal Fingers, JJ DOOM, MF DOOM. It don't matter, it's all good.

Goin' into the metal, once again, I been lookin' into the prog I got in my collection. Became reacquainted with Threshold, Vanden Plas, and Wastefall.

But that's not all. In keepin' up with this featuring stuff, this dude :iconfabiolistrani: came here and dropped a line from a sludge band of his. I tuned in, listened, and knew that I could dig it. So check it out. The band's name is Otus.

That's that. I'm still playin' Marvel, still playin' Tekken, still livin' life. So get it right, even if you gotta do it twice.

Peace and God Bless.
